Character Analyzer (Chapter 4)

Karana's father (Chief Chowig) - Responsible person , leadership quality , brave , willing to sacrifice his life to fight for his rights , loyal to his village
Specify Sentence that justify my interpretation of the character
He knew that he was a Chief and it is his duty to protect his village so he personally went to have a talk with Captain Orlor.(Responsible person , leadership quality , brave and loyal to his village)
It was my father and blood was on his face. Slowly he got to his feet.( willing to sacrifice his life to fight for his rights)


Captain Orlor ( The Aleuts) - violent , cunning , mean , stingy , dishonest
Specify Sentence that justify my interpretation of the character
He order his men to attack Chief Chowig 's village as he think that fighting can solve the problem.(violent , cunning , mean)
He did not pay for the otter that was killed and one of the men from The Aleuts lied that there were more chests on the ship.(stingy , dishonest)

i agree about the character of Karana's father which is responsible and all that you post.But i think you should take the sentence that tell us how do you know the character is responsible person and etc.

I agree with Marliah. You should interpret more on how you know Chief Chowig is a responsible person and so on. And i agree with you on the part about Captain Orlov( you have typo error) about him being stingy and all.

I agree on the comments given by Madeleine. It is true that you should interpret more. Not only that, you should also qoute the sentence that tell us how well the character shows his/her feelings and roles.
